KONSONANT STUDIO EAST

Located inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard

Our clients love spending the week with us in our 1700 square foot state-of-the-art Music and Post facility,  escaping the hustle and bustle of the city around us and spending time in our sonic oasis.

STUDIO B

A fully treated 5.1 room equipped with Dynaudio monitors, ___, ample outlets, and comfortable seating for 5-6, where our collaborators can work and bring in clients. This studio is supplied with:

  • Room dimensions:  12ft x 18ft, 8.5ft drop ceiling

  • Viewing Couch

  • Producer's Desk

COLLABORATIONS

With our ever growing list of clients and projects, we are looking to grow our roster of collaborators! As independent contractors, you bring your skill and expertise, so as a collaborator with Konsonant, we want to offer flexibility in work, scheduling, studio space, and freelance opportunities. We also offer all of our collaborators Project Coordination, Contract Negotiation, flexible Fee Structures, and Music Services.

PROJECT COORDINATION

Our experienced project coordinators can assist with anything you may need, from project management, scheduling, and communications, to meals ordering and online platforms like frame.io and BOX. Our collaborators also have the option to utilize our Assistant Engineer for backups, Studio B prep, exports, and QC.

CONTRACT NEGOTIATION

If you don't feel like dealing with post sound negotiations, contracts, and Invoicing, we can provide these services for you. By utilizing Konsonant’s years of experience in this area, you can have the support of a highly regarded and reputable company to secure the best deal possible.

FEE STRUCTURE

Konsonant POST utilizes two models for our collaborations, one for any personal gigs and the second for those that have come in through Konsonant.

MUSIC SERVICES

​MUSIC SUPERVISION and CLEARANCE

If your client needs the rights cleared for a song in their project, we can provide music clearance services. Konsonant co-owner, Andrew Gross, is an Emmy nominated music supervisor who has vast experience with music clearance, supervision and loves to help craft music solutions for clients. Recent music supervision credits include: I Think You Should Leave (Netflix), It’s What’s Inside (Netflix acquisition at 2024 Sundance) and The Vow: Part II (HBO). ORIGINAL MUSIC

If your client needs original music, we have a roster of highly skilled composers with impressive credits. Co-owner and Emmy nominated composer, Gil Talmi, has scored Netflix’s most watched doc series HARRY & MEGHAN, in addition to many Emmy and Oscar nominated films. A few recent credits include: ​
